When medications need to be administered by a healthcare professional or a patient is uncomfortable with administering themselves Sniteman staff is there for you. Our pharmacists are trained not only for vaccine administration but also non-vaccine injectable medications. All injections require a prescription from your provider and must be dispensed by Sniteman Pharmacy. Some examples include:
If you live in Neillsville, we will deliver medication directly to your home (for a small delivery fee). We offer free delivery for patients who participate in our Medsync or Adherence Packaging programs. Some exclusions apply.
If you can’t make it to us, we can ship your prescriptions right to your home. We ship to patients outside of Neillsville, WI. If you are enrolled in our Medsync or Adherence Packaging program – we cover a monthly postage cost for you! If not enrolled, patients are charged a standard shipping fee. Simply request the option of mailout during the refill process or contact us and we'll handle the rest! Some exclusions apply.
A technician and pharmacist will work together to go through your medications to develop your personal medication list (includes your prescribed medications and over-the-counter medicines). A pharmacist will then sit down with you privately for 30-45 minutes to discuss your medication list. We will help you understand why you are taking each of your medicines, common side effects, can help assess the efficacy of the medications and sometimes find ways to save you money. Other important services we offer with MTM include checking your blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and immunization history so we can make recommendations. Many insurances cover this service entirely! Please contact the pharmacy with questions about the details of this service.
At Sniteman Pharmacy, our goal is to make sure our patients are taken care of. To do this, we created our Medication Synchronization Program (Medsync) where we align your refills to all come due at the same time. The core feature of this program is for us (the pharmacy) to contact you (the patient) each month (or 3 months if insurance allows). We determine what has or has not changed since the previous month, contact your provider for refills or changes and make sure that all your medications are ready for pickup/mailout/delivery on an agreed upon date.
Benefits of the Medsync Program include:

Managing multiple medications can be a challenge. A convenient way to help remember how/when to take them is to have them packaged. We can package all your medications based on the time of day taken or individually to help with adherence. Typically, we try to pack for a month at a time (30/31) but sometimes may have to do 4 weeks if exclusions apply. Feel free to stop in to see what these look like and pickup an application today!
